Arjun and Arthi Krishna are the recent winners of the Congressional App Challenge for the Arkansas 3rd District, and two of the most inspiring students we’ve met! Their winning app, BookGazers, is a marriage of paperback books and augmented reality, and is currently being displayed on Capital Hill, and they’ve been invited to D.C. for the #HouseOfCode event.
In this episode we discuss the Congressional App Challenge, the Y.E.A. (Young Entrepreneurs Academy) program hosted by the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce, and much more about how Arjun and Arthi view the world.

Seth Kaffka dives into the (admittedly unsexy) topic of selling commodities, and brings more enthusiasm than some people take to a professional sporting event. He shares the story of what started in 2006 as Blackhive Corp buying and selling a truckload of sugar packets, that eventually grew into a diversified portfolio of activities that spans from canned asparagus to branding some of the most innovative new products going on the shelves of top tier retailers.
Seth and his team bring an opportunistic approach to business, especially in sales, with a level of customer care that keeps clients returning. You can learn more about their four organizations under one roof below, or reach out to Seth at seth.kaffka@blacksailscapital.com

SCREEMO helps brick and mortar marketers to connect physical customers to the omnichannel using digital gamified experiences in-store to create a call to action on the consumer's mobile and enhance the customer experience.
Shai Bargil, who leads operations for SCREEMO, and Adir Zimerman CEO, join us to share more on their innovative platform to bring advertising to life.
The founder team started in Israel, and recently moved operations to Bentonville, AR after catching the eye of Walmart CEO, Doug McMillon in a product demo. In Israel, it’s required for all able-bodied individuals to serve in the armed forces, usually for 2 years. We enjoy learning about how this shared experience shapes the individuals, and how its implications have played into shaping an entrepreneurial ecosystem with more startup companies per capita than nearly anywhere in the world.
Start-up Nation – A further dive into Israel’s Startup Ecosystem
